A fundamental shift has occurred in our collective understanding of the impact untreated trauma has on individuals and society. We are an Emmy-nominated team of diverse entertainment and mental health professionals whose mission is to support the emergence of mental health content in the media. We provide consultation and production services to corporations, clinicians, content creators, journalists, filmmakers, and storytellers, helping to bring their voices and creative insights to the world.
We provide ongoing support for internal conflicts and public relations crises within a newly emerging trauma-informed workforce. As of 2022, over 96% of Linkedin’s top-rated companies provide mental health days. The corporate world is finally beginning to respond to their employees' everyday mental health struggles. The next step in this journey is for corporations to be proactive in providing meaningful training, resources, and models to support the needs of their workers. Our team can help guide corporations through this process while considering each company's needs.
Some of the most impactful and inspiring stories are often rooted in moments of intense strife, pain, and hardship. We offer a path to approaching such stories while providing input and guidance on delivering challenging content without overwhelming audiences or compromising creativity. Additionally, our team can help package impactful, accessible resources, supporting events, and complementary materials focused on the mental health and well-being of the viewer.
Our team understands the difficulties of commercial productions. From the immediate stress of the environment to the complication of shooting trauma-based content, we offer training and resources to keep sets safe and crews supported. We also provide consulting through the creative and development process to discuss how best to capture important subjects without activating the intended audience.
The development and pre-production phases can be complicated when approaching difficult or upsetting content. Our team of experts can help guide creatives through the process of writing and preparation by providing resources and pairing creatives with world-class experts in the field of mental health, psychology, and psychiatry.
We provide production services to clinicians and mental health experts who wish to share their insights globally, creating a professional interview to be filmed remotely or in person and shared on websites or social media.
Storytellers are responding to the mental health crisis, and we are passionate about bringing these stories to the world. Whether a documentary, podcast, a novel, etc. Trauma-Informed Media champions original material and supports artists in finding a home for a global audience.
